“Great space in the city”

Liked: Well maintained and laid out. Great spot to have a picnic or take a stroll for a couple of miles.
Disliked: info centre closed on weekends

“outstanding little arboretum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 7, 2013

as a landscape architect i have visited many botanic gardens and arboretums. this one is small but mighty. all of the areas are well designed and maintained. i spent 90 minutes and got to see everything i wanted but could have stayed much longer. kudos to lexington and UK for their wonderful creation.

“A great one hour visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 27, 2013

The landscape and extensive plants, buses, trees and roses galore continue to grow. In May you will see 500=1000 rose bushes of vaious size, color and age. I have never seen so many roses in one place.

“Lovely place to walk and smell the roses”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 26, 2013

We were visitng Lexington and went to the Arboretum to enjoy the lovely trees and flowers that we no longer get to see due to living in Florida. What a beautiful place - lots of trails to walk and lovely gardens to browse. We spent a very relaxing and peaceful afternoon walking the grounds.

“Nice place to go”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 26, 2013

It was a nice place to go if you are in the area, but not worth a special trip.
If you want a relaxing way of spending 2 or 3 hours, you can wander among the flower gardens.
