Hyatt places are always a nice place to stay with living room areas, work stations and free Wi-Fi very nice. Bed was super comfy and slept great. Breakfast was a good selection and quality was good. Restaurants nearby so we had a lot of choices to pick from.

We stayed here on Friday evening of Memorial Day weekend and found it a great place to stay on our way to Asheville North Carolina. This is a tastefully designed hotel with a spacious room with a sitting area and bedroom space. Our queen sized beds were very comfortable, the hotel and room were well kept and clean,, and we were provided a nice breakfast with hot food. Extra bonus points for the thick, thirsty towels, an item sometimes not present in even fine hotels. As the other reviews stated, there are many nearby shopping and dinning options. The price was mid range for the area. I would recommend Hyatt Place properties across the board, as I have had excellent experiences at all of these.

Room Tip: I usually choose the top floor at hotels like this.

The location is right across from Hamburg place, a large shopping center with lots of restaurants like Ramsey's. Rooms are large and nicely designed, bathrooms have separate toilet and shower. Problem is the air-conditioning (located about 18 inches from the bed), they have the old style through the wall/under the window units which I love because I like white noise and these are rather loud units. But they have set them up so that the fan will only come on when the room needs cooling. So you go from dead silence to fan to dead silence, wakes me up every time. The remote control has Fan On mode (theoretically to keep the fan on) but several calls to maintenance and a day later it appears that is just a pacifier. The shower threshold is sloped away from the shower head so all the water that hits the threshold flows to the back on the shower and out onto the floor (probably room specific but annoying). Toilets don't flush very well and you have to hold down the handle to get it to work. Staff was nice but kept trying to tell me that Fan On mode meant when need, they couldn't explain Fan Auto... Breakfast was okay, had better. Why this review? I choose this hotel based on ratings and expected much better. Not a bad hotel, not as rated either.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms on the opposite side of the highway if quiet is something you want.

We arrived late last Wednesday night to find a warm staff to welcome us. The room was large, clean with fridge, huge TV, and excellent comfortable bed. Always important to get a good nights sleep when traveling which we got here. Away from highway. Walked to Outback for dinner! One mile or less to the Liquor Barn, Starbucks, and drug stores. Extremely convenient. Would stay here again!

Room Tip: Don't think you can go wrong with any room.
