I've been to a lot of marinas. This is one of the best. The owners know how to run a service business- the property is clean, neat, and well maintained. The staff is well-trained, friendly and they treat customers in a way that makes them glad to spend their money at the marina. I have been to more than a few marinas where customers are treated with a level of indifference that can only come from the top.
The restaurant's food is certainly not gourmet, but it's a MARINA for heaven's sake! It is what one would expect at a waterside restaurant- burgers, sandwiches, appetizers. Our lunch was just fine and a good value for the venue.
This property was on life support before the current owners took it over. It should be studied by management students as an example of how to bring a business roaring back.
