“Idilic isolation in a beautiful setting”

A great cottage which matches the description and pictures exactly. We stayed with friends who had the Falstaff Cottage. Sadly we didn't meet the owners although our friends said Clive was really nice, helpful and friendly. It rained each of the four days we were here so we didn't make the most off the beautiful gardens surrounding the cottage or the walks from the property. We would definitely like to come back in better weather. A really romantic and cosy cottage.

Falstaff and Lovers cottage new years stay.
Thanks for choosing to stay with us for your new year break. Also a big thank you for your kind words and 5 star review on the cottages.

I am glad you enjoyed your stay with us at Falstaff and Lovers cottage It is a really nice walk to the chase pub across the hills and good when you get there! although a bit a bit damp out there at the moment. Thanks again

The cottage was very quaint and simply decorated but beautiful. Set in very secluded surroundings with lovely views of the Malvern Hills. The hot tub, which was for our personal use while we were there, was an added bonus and extremely relaxing. We visited for our Honeymoon but would definitely go again for a relaxing weekend. Thank you Clive we loved it.

Had a lovely stay at this quirky cottage with hot tub. It is set on wonderful grounds where the owner Clive also lives and is on hand to help with any queries.
The cottage is really comfortable and is nicely decorated. It has a fully functioning kitchen and the hot tub in the garden adds to the luxury.
We stayed for 4 nights but wish we had more! Colwall is a small village but you are close to some other lovely places with lots of amenities. Wouldn't recommend and revisit! Thanks for a great stay.

I loved my time here. Cottage is ridiculously comfortable and feels like a home from home after a matter of hours. Clive, the owner, is very friendly and will make you feel welcome straight away. Plenty of places to eat and drink not too far and plenty of nice walks.

Many thanks to clive for a wonderful stay at such a beautiful cottage in perfect location. The cottage was stunning , in a wonderfully peaceful setting. We had a truly wonderful 4 days and couldn't have wished for more.
The cottage and garden are beautifully maintained, and the having the hot tub was lovely. The 4 days we spent were perfect in everyway, we will definitely look forward to going back again. Many thanks to Clive and family for making my partner and I so welcome and having such an amazing hols.

“Fantastic break, great place to escape to”
Reviewed January 6, 2014 for a stay in January 2014

We booked in for the week after Christmas to take in the New Year. If you are looking for somewhere which is secluded, has a hot tub and has some great scenery then this is the place for you. As others have mentioned, the ever helpful Clive is on hand for a warm welcome and to sort any problems out. The cottage is the definition of cosy with full on heating everywhere and a log burner. Upstairs is a very welcoming bedroom and en suite although there is also a loo downstairs too. During the day you can set off in various directions for some good walks and there are some nice watering holes within a couple of miles. The Wellington Inn offers a great welcome, hearty food and some cheery Ales as well as a cheery Landlord. You are also less than 30 minutes away from Worcester if you start suffering from Starbucks withdrawal symptoms. Even the horrendous weather couldn't spoil our stay although the cottage is at the end of a longish drive and so I would make sure your vehicle is on the sturdier side if you coming in the Winter.

“The most perfect cottage break”
Reviewed October 29, 2013 for a stay in October 2013

We arrived early evening on Friday and were completely blown away by how stunning the estate was. It is absolutely magical. Clive ensures that there's plenty of attention to detail with champagne, chocolates, wood and the hot tub all ready to go - you couldn't ask for anything more.
it is perfect in every way and we couldn't stop telling each other how lucky we were to have found somewhere like this.
I would highly recommend staying here to escape from reality, take walk in the stunning country by the lake, relax in the hot tub and bask in the beauty of this place!
