Stayed here one night with my 7 yr old grand daughter....we were there to visit Mammoth Cave. Checked in very early in the day, no problems at all. Room quite comfortable and beds/bedding were fantastic. Multiple pillows, duvet, silky soft sheets.....impressive for an 'interstate' hotel. Indoor pool warm but not heated, whirlpool "out of order" however. Very good breakfast, although a toaster would be appreciated for bagels. Overall I would rate this above average for comfort, cleanliness and bedding. The thermostat however seemed 'off' as far as temps throughout the night...but it might have just been me working it wrong....but it did get awfully warm in the night. Still.....rate this highly!

After booking this hotel, I read the review of March5, 2007 and was a little fearful of what I would encounter. The person who checked us in was not the friendliest person I ever met but the rest of the staff, housekeepers, managers and other front desk clerks more than made up for her lack of personality. The rooms were clean and beds were super comfortable. Breakfast was nice, lots of choices. This is the perfect place for families. Close to all the nearby attractions. We would definitely stay here again!

Well decorated, clean rooms. Warm pool with ample deck space. Exercise room. Hot breakfast, with spacious breakfast area.
To be compelling -- should add microwave and fridge to room.

My family and I just stayed at the hampton over the weekend of march 3rd. And I have to say, i was very dissapointed. The staff was very rude, it seemed like it would kill them if they broke a smile.Esp, the front desk, the cook and the housekeeping. Other than that the rooms were clean and such, but you would expect to feel more welcome. There tone and the way they said things didn't seem very proffesional.I seriously doubt I will take my family back to this hotel again. If you have a family and is planning a stay here, and expect to feel welcomed and such, then this is not the place to do so.
