Description: The Old Stone Farmhouse is an award winning, fine dining restaurant. Set in a wooded valley close to the 11th hole of the Mahogany Run Golf Course, this restaurant is located in a 200 year old restored field house on the lush countryside of St. Thomas. It was created as a stable for a nearby Danish sugar plantation, and the walls are more than 2 feet thick. Ceiling fans and breezes blowing through the valley keep the place cool. The building's distinctive character is shown with native stone walls, original hardwood floors, brick arches, and a charming covered palm-lined courtyard. The restaurant features "Chef Inspired" fine dining in an intimate and elegant atmosphere. The cuisine is ingredient driven and will change with each season. The Old Stone Farmhouse is one of the most romantic and elegant dinner settings anywhere, offering old-world charm and a second-to-none dining experience. Personalized attention makes dining here a delight.

What a fantastic dining experience! Everything about this restaurant, from the atmosphere, to the service, to the food, is so worth the visit. When you dine here, please take the opportunity to visit the kitchen and meet Chef Greg. The menu you'll receive when you are seated is incredible, but talk to Chef Greg and the talented folks in the kitchen. You may choose to go "off the menu" by creating your own plate based on the meat, seafood, and shellfish offerings on the butcher block. For example, you can create your own version of a surf and turf plate. Thanks to everyone at OSFH for making our dinner the highlight of our vacation! We look forward to visiting again when we return to STT in the future.

Having visited St. Thomas many times over the years, I'm afraid we always got stuck in that "tourist rut." Thankfully we discover Old Stone Farmhouse on our recent visit. We enjoyed it so much that we came back 2 more times in the week we were there. Everyone has heard about the visit to the kitchen to meet the chef and design exactly the dinner you want. What a fantastic concept! But the whole menu is designed to accommodate the guest's wishes. If you don't want the Turf part of a Surf & Turf entre they will gladly and graciously leave off the meat portion and increase the size of the seafood portion. That's why we could come back so often and never get bored. I had something different, unique and fabulous every night I was there. And the Spinach salad is to Die for!
Chef Greg is not only very talented he is also very personable and friendly as is the entire crew. The dining room staff under Whitney's watchful eye is very professional and friendly. This is an elegant restaurant that's not stuffy but truly makes you feel like it's your home for the night.

My husband and I had a most wonderful dining experience at the Old Stonehouse Farmhouse in St. Thomas in November 2010.
We have been going to St. Thomas yearly for the past 13 years. We now make this our final night spot - because the food and experience is so special.
The restaurant itself is charming, a old stone farmhouse from the 1800's. New this year upon entering and being seated, we followed a "red carpet" to the kitchen, where we received free appetizers and we were able to meet the chef, kitchen staff and watch the food preparation. We were able to ask questions regarding the menu, with a very polite and interesting chef. Upon returning to our table, we had a great dinner, wonderful service, and a very nice wine list. This is truely a wonderful dining experience. It is pricey, but the value is excellent.

My wife and I ate here with our 9 month old son and the experience was way beyond our expectations. The restaurant is tucked away in a magical setting and the dining experience was world class. We were welcomed and very well accommodated as we had our son with us which put us at ease and gave us the opportunity to really enjoy the experience. I would highly recommoned this place and thanks to everyone at Old Stone Farmhouse for the delicious food and a memorable evening!

We just returned to snowy NJ from St Thomas. Dining at The Old Stone Farmhouse was the highlite of our trip. The concept is wonderful. You can have exactly what you want,(6 courses) in a perfect setting, with very knowledgeable, gracious people. We found it less expensive than a few restaurants we visited and certainly better in every aspect.
A wonderful dinner, a wonderful memory.
