Description: The Old Stone Farmhouse is an award winning, fine dining restaurant. Set in a wooded valley close to the 11th hole of the Mahogany Run Golf Course, this restaurant is located in a 200 year old restored field house on the lush countryside of St. Thomas. It was created as a stable for a nearby Danish sugar plantation, and the walls are more than 2 feet thick. Ceiling fans and breezes blowing through the valley keep the place cool. The building's distinctive character is shown with native stone walls, original hardwood floors, brick arches, and a charming covered palm-lined courtyard. The restaurant features "Chef Inspired" fine dining in an intimate and elegant atmosphere. The cuisine is ingredient driven and will change with each season. The Old Stone Farmhouse is one of the most romantic and elegant dinner settings anywhere, offering old-world charm and a second-to-none dining experience. Personalized attention makes dining here a delight.

My boyfriend and I visited Old Stone Farmhouse on our first trip to St. Thomas in 2012, and wanted to make sure we made it back on our trip this past March. We were awed by a fabulous meal in a great setting! The protein "butchers block" was a huge hit with some first-timers and the staff was super friendly/ knowledge about the food and wine. Can't wait to go back!

my boyfriend and i have lived on st. thomas for more than a year and finally got around to trying this place. we are sad we waited so long! complimentary valet makes for a good first impression when you drive up. and you're instantly awed by the beauty of the farmhouse. we sat near the wine room, which was pretty impressive. being allowed to go into the kitchen and talk to the chef about all that is on the butcher's block was the coolest part (not to mention signing our names to the wall!).
we decided on a locations wine that paired great with all of our food choices. we were presented with an amuse -- a chilled asparagus bisque -- that was interesting, but surprisingly good. the scallop appetizer was heavenly; their twist on a caprese salad was delicious -- the mozzarella is so fresh and creamy, we were surprised it wasn't made in-house. in between courses, we had a pomegranate-ginger sorbet that cleansed the pallet while perking the taste buds at the same time. i went with the ny strip feature, and my boyfriend had the kangaroo (yes, kangaroo!), and we were both extremely happy with our decisions. for dessert, my boyfriend devoured the pb&j -- a pound cake/ french toast concoction -- and we took the tasty chocolate bread pudding to do (only because i normally don't eat desserts, and my boyfriend was too full to finish it all).
our server, tim, was extremely knowledgable about all features, wines and menu items -- and being super friendly was a great plus! alex and jasmine, the support staff, were also very friendly and knowledgeable.
when we made our way to the exit, we found our car had already been pulled around for us -- the waiter and the valet must have been in cahoots! ;)
it was the perfect touch to end a perfect experience and meal!

We will be dining here again on our next visit to St. Thomas. I applaud the staff on their professionalism and great service. The atmosphere is unique and inviting. We expected as much seeing how beautiful the building is, and we were not disappointed.

This is fine dining at it's best! Perfect for a special night out, the gourmet menu is to die for. It's hard to choose, however after visiting the kitchen and having the Chef explain the protein selections, we chose to go with the Butcher Block and were quite satisfied with our selection.

We cannot express enough what a wonderful experience this was and look forward to returning again in the future! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for superb dining experience in St. Thomas!

If you are looking for $95 warm champagne and $35 per shrimp which are half cooked then this is the place for you. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants and a staple of my twice yearly trips to St Thomas, but I will not go again. $350 for two people to have aterrible meal is a real problem. The beautiful building doesn't make up for poor service and half cooked over priced food
