We only needed a place to sleep on our way home and it was easy on/off access. We had to go about 4 miles to eat and there were many other chains in that area. The bedding was clean, sink all cracked around the drain and towels thin and hard. The " breakfast" was by far the worst...the orange juice came out like water, only white bread available and a few paltry pieces of fruit. Drive on by!

We stayed here as a halfway point between our home and Troy, Michigan, where we had been on vacation. As an overnight stay, it was okay. The room was worn, especially the bathroom, which had broken grouting and tiling and was quite tiny. However, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The lady at the check-in desk was very friendly.

We were traveling with our pets, and I know that sometimes people traveling with pets are NOT considerate of other travelers and allow their pets to make a wreck of the room. Therefore I notice these hotels give pet guests the more worn rooms. This may have been the case with us, as every room around us had folks with dogs. The television, a very old set with bad color, was on top of the cabinet it was supposed to be inside for some reason. We had a king bed and next to it was a corner desk. Instead of having an office chair, it had a recliner that was a killer to maneuver! I guess this was to make the room more comfy for someone who was not working on a computer, but it was very awkward as the space was tiny.

The hotel is across from a truck stop, next to another hotel, and next to that is a Waffle House. We ate there--typical Waffle House food, plain and filling--and then came back to the hotel. The truck stop made it slightly noisy, and at 1 a.m. some idiot peeled rubber and went zooming out of the parking lot like a getaway car in a robbery. However, this is hardly the hotel's fault.

Days Inn offers a small breakfast, very heavy on the carbs: oatmeal in packets, cereal, a waffle maker, coffee and tea, some bananas, bread for toast, bagels and little muffins. This was what we expected.

I'd say this place was good for an overnight stay. You won't get any cooties and you probably can sleep with the absence of testosterone-fueled idiots. Don't expect luxury, though!

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the side opposite the other hotel. It might help, but that side is closer to the f...

I was very impressed. The last under $50 hotel I stayed in was terrible. This Days Inn was a pleasant surprise.

The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The rooms were clean, and the place was quiet.

Reservations made for a non smoking room produced a bed with sheets that had cigarette burns on them. The entire facility is in need of a thorough cleaning. Even when you went down early for breakfast, most items were gone & not being replenished so we went elsewhere. The coupon we presented at check-in was not honored because the ad said 'not valid on 'some weekends' making it totally at the discretion of the front desk person checking you in.'

Stayed here one night after being displaced from our original hotel due to overbooking. Our stay at Days Inn, originally 3 nights, was paid for by the original hotel to compensate us for the inconvenience.
We lasted one night and had to leave. This place is disgusting. It is unnerving when at a late hour the front desk clerk is behind a locked, secured glass door and has to buzz you in. Made us feel the place was unsafe.
The room was disgusting. Reeked so badly of smoke, and smoke does not ordinarily bother me, that we did not sleep well at all. Room was very DIRTY. So much so we slept in our clothes for fear of critters in the beds. Did not want to turn off the light because it was so dirty roaches would not have been a surprise.
I am not overly picky, but I do expect a clean room, and a feeling that I am staying somewhere safe. This was neither.
I would not stay there for free, and didn't. We left after one awful night.
This place is an absolute dump. Stay away or you will be sorry.

We stayed here overnight while traveling by motorcycle to Tennessee. It was a good overnight spot; nice room, parking right outside the door. Decent continental breakfast, good high speed access. My only "negative" would be that there wasn't much in the way of restaurants, etc. nearby - ate at the nearby Waffle House which was ok but it was about our only choice...

Remind me to look up these hotel reviews "before" I travel next time.
Cons: Room not all that clean. At first glance it appears ok, but cobwebs behind the door, dust on the bed rail..... USED SOAP IN THE SHOWER...WAS IT WASHED SINCE THE LAST TRAVELERS??? ICK! Shower/ bath equipment looks like it needs work.
The grass outside wasn't cut.
It appears they are trying to improve since last reviews....but not there yet.

Pros: Nice help at the desk. Microwave and fridge in room. Pet friendly and wifi.
