“Funky Place for a Quick Sandwich”
Reviewed January 27, 2013

Nice place to grab a quick bite to eat. Reasonably priced sandwiches and of course coffee drinks. Located in the heart of Frankfort.

Ate there today. Little restaurant connected to bookstore and book shop. Food good and interesting. I had a spinach and strawberry salad.

“Loved our lunch”
Reviewed August 12, 2012

Our family took a break along the Bourbon Trail to have lunch on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. We were able to get a table outside overlooking the old capitol building. We had sandwiches and salads and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. I loved my spinach strawberry salad, the strawberries were spectacular. Had my first tast of Kentucky Ale which I also highly recommend. The staff was very good and the prices were reasonable.

“Truly one of a kind!”
Reviewed July 11, 2012

It is unlikely that you will ever encounter such an establishment as this--wherever you travel. It is truly one of a kind. Yes, they have great food, coffees and teas. Also a very nice selection of imported and craft beers. Wine, too! And, yes, it is quite possible that you will luck into a fantastic show on any given Friday night (big name acts--in a room that holds 75...talk about up close and personal!). But, far more importantly, the place just oozes good vibe. That they are the cultural hub of Frankfort is no exaggeration. The couple who own the cafe have done more for this community than just about anyone else I can think of... and the cafe has been right at the heart of it. If passing through Frankfort, do yourself a favor and stop in... finding a place this wonderful will be a very hard thing to do. They just don'tcome like this very often... if ever. Frankfort is incredibly lucky.
