While visiting the Cincinnati area, a local took me to the Greyhound Tavern. What a great experience. My friend highly recommended the fried chicken...and what a great choice it was!
Staff was very friendly, and the service was great.

We were looking for a fine restaurant and this was it. Reservations are accepted, but we did not have one and were seated in the tavern. that was fine by us.
The food was hot, tasty, and service was very good. All of our questions about preparation, etc. were answered and we enjoyed our dinner. We don't like spending a lot on our dinners, and this had a variety of options for any price range.

Stopped in on Saturday after the car show with my husband, daughters and daughter's fiance. The service was great, very friendly and efficient. Not crowded due to time of day, but when we left, approx. 4:30 pm starting to pick up. My husband, my daughter and myself all had the cod sandwich. Comes with potato chips and a very good coleslaw. The cod was thick, very flaky and moist. It's on rye bread with pickles and tomatoes and of course, tartar sauce. The atmosphere is very family friendly. It has various rooms for dining in as well as a bar area. A lot of locals visit. Several of us ordered the derby pie to go (full from our meal, but had to have for later). A woman sitting at a table near us suggested the cheesecake (which she always gets) for dessert. Excellent place to go! Food is great!

We love the Greyhound. Have been going there for 40+ years. Food is always good. The Hot Brown and Hot Slaw are among our favorites!!! You won't go wrong ordering their Cod or Fried Chicken. Both are very tasty.

This is an older place with a wonderful history. The food is homestyle, but very well thoughtout menu. Easy on the eyes and the wallet. I will deffinatly be giving this one more attention.
