“Rebuilding. .. but”

This museum is going to be a shell of its former self, 99% of armor gone, will have pattons, car and armored van but thats going to be about it. Look for newer reviews before you make the trip.

“Going...going...almost gone...”
Reviewed February 14, 2013 via mobile

Went way out of our way today to see this museum. The place was deserted and the only real exhibit was about the Army ROTC program. The Armoured Division has been relocated to GA and the exhibits must have gone along. The Army should update its web site. A sign did say a reconstituted museum would open in the next year or so.It was interesting to see the gold depository....it is next to the main gate...but the
setting was underwhelming.

“Nice Daytrip from Louisville”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

We took our 13 year old grandson. He loved the museum. It's the second time I have been but that was some years ago. We enjoyed the exhibits. I would highly recommend this free museum when you visit the area. It compliments a lot of our history. As a Vietnam Veteran I really enjoyed it. War isn't good, but freedom isn't free.

“Wonderful FREE museum!!”

Great place to visit. We were told at the gift shop that they're getting ready to do a big renovation. I checked the website, and some of the tanks are being restored.
