We stopped at a campground in Dry Ridge, and asked for a recommendation for dinner. We were told about the Cracker Barrel but the CG owner recommended Country Grill. We arrived at 8 pm (they close the kitchen at 9), and were greeted warmly by the waitress.

The chicken dinner was the special - the reason it takes longer than anything else is because they cook it to order. And so delicious. You get an entire half chicken - four pieces, with mashed potatoes. REAL mashed, not frozen, not from a box. The chicken gravy was delicious.

The true test - neither of us could eat all of our chicken, so we had the rest of it as a picnic lunch the next day, and it was STILL delicious!

We were so impressed at dinner, we went back for breakfast the next morning - and had a great breakfast there too. Make this your destination stop on the I-75. We'll be planning our next trip around stopping here.

We went here on our way to our honeymoon in tn as just a quick stop to eat. The stuffed mushrooms and friendly waitress won us over! Now we are sure to stop every year on our way back for our anniversary trip. Thw food is amazing and its very cute inside. Perfect location right off 75 with that wonderful southern hospitality. Highly recommended!

We are a local family and usually visit Country Grill every couple of weeks. The fried chicken is wonderful. It's always hot and flavorful. Be prepared for an extra 10 or 15 minute wait, but it's worth it. Try some of the stuffed mushrooms while you're waiting. Husband likes the meatloaf and just about everything else. They do serve wine, beer, etc. The waitresses and other staff are always friendly and gracious. They also have a list of specials they serve daily at great prices. The croutons are one of the reasons to try the salad. Another would be the italian dressing, lots of herbs.

Had dinner with my mother on Thursday May 9, right off I 75. Great local restaurant with home cooked food. I highly recommend the fried chicken with homemade mashed potatoes. We also tried the mushrooms magnifico, delicious cream cheese stuffed mushrooms. I would love to try more food from their menu.

Our waitress was excellent and gracious. She accommodated our different than menu requests. Food, however, was about average quality (Homestyle Buffet Type Food). Old owners are back. Hope this helps.
