This place is the combination of a nice restaurant and a pizza parlor. We went on a Tuesday night with family for a birthday celebration (14 of us). They sat us in the back at three large tables pushed together. We had the entire back of the restaurant to ourselves which was nice because we had five kids who weren't behaving.

We ordered a couple bowls of chips for the kids right away and they were a good snack. We also ordered several appetizers including the calabrese dip and the cheese & olive platter. Both were picked clean so I'll say they were good.

We then ordered three large pizzas and all three were very good. One was supposed to be half-pepperoni and half-cheese for the kids and it came out all pepperoni so they made us a small cheese that came out 8 minutes later which was nice.

Tables have nice table cloths on them, plates and silverware were nice, and the place just looks like an upscale restaurant. The menu is fairly small, and is mostly pizza/calzones. With that said everything we had was good and the prices very reasonable.

I've heard this place is busy on the weekends, but on the Tuesday we went we made up more than half the customers. Hopefully that isn't the norm as we will definitely visit again.

The Good: Great Pizza and Calzones, neat location, quick service, reasonable prices.

The Bad: No coffee, limited menu.

This is a really interesting place that is located in an old bank with family pictures on the walls. They have very good food, quick service and low prices. The pizza is excellent and the Calzones are top notch. There is not much variety and no coffee . . .

This little restaurant is in a drab section of a small river town but very near Cincinnat. It takes us about 20 minutes from the east side. The pizza is like Roman pizza--that is, thin , and not deeply heaped with "stuff". The crust is Very tasty -just the right amout of chewiness and crunch. Salads are fresh and good and they make their own dressings. A brother makes the gelato. Older women cousins make the cookies. The atmosphere is like in Rome--bustling , loud fun. There is music on Friday and Saturday nights but it is not rock-or it wasn't when we were there. I suggest you call for reservations on Friday or Saturday nights. We were there for a late lunch on Saturday and they could not take any more reservations! I love this family owned place so much . I want to go back. Now.
