We ate here two evenings as we were staying in the hotel (separate review) and there doesn't seem to be anywhere else nearby.
It was asparagus season and as neither of us is too keen this rather restricted our choice. Having said that, the asparagus soup was excellent! Trinser Raviuls, a local specialty of pear-filled ravioli, were very nice. Chicken and chips was superb - lots of crispy-coated chicken wings and proper chips. Pork dishes and plum and lemon sorbets were also very good.
On the Saturday evening the restaurant was packed so service was rather slow as they didn't seem to have hired any extra staff. However, they were all very friendly and helpful.
