We stayed here for the first time last Sunday. Every single member of staff was polite and went out of their way to help you. The food was lovely - nothing too pretentious, and beautifully cooked. We had a standard double room, with a huge comfortable bed. My only minor gripe would be that it was two single beds pushed together and you could feel the divide but I've experienced plenty worse. Breakfast was good too - they ran out of back bacon while we were there but we still both had plenty to eat. We made good use of the leisure facilities too, using the pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. The jacuzzi was a bit small and was hogged by two couples who seemed blissfully unaware that other people exist in the world, but that's hardly the hotel's fault! We also went for a walk around the grounds by the golf course which was very nice - felt like an escape in the middle of the countryside! Lovely!
Our lasting memory of the place has to be the enormous twinkly lobby! We loved it! Not too expensive either - We shall be back!More
