This is not Chez Luiz. It is a normal Irish Pub in an old house. There are bars on three stories. Each has sports TVs, and two have little statges. The food is good bar food, not much more. Sometimes the soup/stew is delicious. But this IS a hangout for the Irish in Cincinnati/Covington, and there is no people better at having fun and socializing. So its not a bad spot to go if you are flying solo and in need of a drink and some company. Try the Tullamore Dew, my favorite of the many wonderful triple-distilled Irish whiskies ("God made Whiskey so the Irish would not rule the world").

In town for the weekend and ate here twice. All the employees were friendly. Friday night all three of us had the fish, awesome and filling. Happy hour really reduced our tab because we went crazy on appetizers, beer, and food. Both times we ordered the pretzels and cheese, loved it. Tried several differant beers that we have not seen before. Plenty of room at booths and some sidewalk seating. We would definetly return when in the Cincinnati area, the food and service was exellent.

For an authentic meal of fish and chips, pub style (reminded us both of Dublin AND London) this is the place to go. Many fine beers on tap- and they do a great Guiness pour. Freinly ait staff, Pub atmosphere. Go on their website for the nights they have music. We were in Covington for only one night and thisfit the bill. And then you can walk across the Roebling Bridge ( smaller version of the Brooklyn Bridge by the same architect).
