“A place to enjoy the outdoors”
Reviewed October 8, 2010

One of the treasures of the bluegras shas to be Bernjiem Forst. This lace is a credit to the man whose vision was about thrity or more years a head of the rest of us. Plan a picnic a wedding, or just a great hike. No matter your ability there is something for everyone at Berheim Forest. This is a have to whenever I am in Kentucky.
Enjoy. Free during the week and a modest charge on weekends. Isaac's cafe is a nice interlude. Becvome a member of the foundaqtion and support this special place in Kentucky on the 245.

“I love this place! A nice way to spend a few hours.”
Reviewed July 27, 2010

Sadly, it was nearly 100 degrees on our second visit so we didn't see as much as we did the first time we went. However, we still had a nice time. The gift shop/welcome center is great--lots of local crafts and nice nature-related items. There are cool displays and the staff is friendly. One worker helped us find three attractions we could visit in about two hours. We opted to find a Revolutionary War cemetery, the Canopy Walk and the deer pen. Everything is clearly marked and it's nice to drive around if the weather is too hot (or cold!).
