We are a family traveling with 2 kids in the 7-12 age group.
The staff: 10
Beds: 8.5 loved that we had 2 queens instead of 2 doubles.
Breakfast: 7 (just your standard muffins, cereal ect.)
Safety: 10 (we did not feel unsafe at anytime)
Cleanliness: 9 (cause no one can really be a 10)
Bathroom: 8 (roomy, loved the long counter top, decent shower)
Convenience: 9 (close to interstate, area attractions, great if you're going to Mammoth Cave. Be aware we did not find a lot of options for food. Subway, McD's,couple more maybe and that's it.)
Overall this is a GREAT hotel for the money. It is clean, comfortable, modern decor, feels safe, friendly, professional staff.

This is a newer clean property that's close to Mammoth Cave. We had two adjacent rooms. In one the air conditioner buzzed in the other the toilet wouldn't flush. Breakfast was meager - no yogurt, and the coffee was so-so. There were flies that bothered us in the breakfast room.

The Sleep Inn is one of the newer hotels in Cave City, and it is worth every penny to stay here, because you can tell. The lobby is beautiful, and check in was a breeze - folks are very friendly here. We got up to the room and saw a freshly painted, very relaxing room. Because it is a Sleep Inn, I expected the rooms to be on the smaller side, but that was not the case. All rooms have a microwave and fridge, and we also got the requisite large scree flat panel TV :) The pool was on the small side, but that doesn't kill the enjoyment of the little ones, and the water was really nice and relaxing. Breakfast is still your standard continental fare - pastries and waffles, but that's what you should expect in the Choice Hotels chain. Overall, this was a great stay - easily the nicest Sleep Inn I have ever been at.

Every year we stay for a whole week in Cave City. This town desperately needed a new hotel and finally Sleep Inn showed up. I was excited to try it for a week this year The hotel is nice and clean and modern. The staff is very friendly. We stayed in the King Suite and the room was huge! We did not hear any noise from other rooms but we were on the top floor and on the end of the hallway.

The free breakfast is typical but after being here for a week I realize that they serve the same thing every day.

My few minor complaints are that the suite only has a shower( no tub), no whirlpool/spa in the pool area (However, I can't dock them a star for this since they advertised it as such.)

However, their WiFi kept going out or was very slow. We had to resort to buying an Ethernet cable . So I docked them a star for the poor WiFi.

However, I am looking forward to staying here again next year.

We stayed here for 4 nights to give us quick and easy access to Mammoth Caves and the other various caves in the area. The hotel was rebuilt/remodeled last year, and it was very nice. Our room was spacious and clean. The pillows were a bit fluffy for our taste, but the beds were comfortable. The kids used the pool, and while it was small, it helped cool them off, as there was a heat wave the week we were there. We would definitely stay there again if we're ever in the area.
