This hotel was wonderful. I was travelling with three young children and an elderly adult. The staff was EXCELLENT with assisting me with my family. There was bad weather to top things off. They had a crib for my infant. The hotel was very clean, quiet and the breakfast was just fine in the morning. The ladt manning the breakfast area was so nice to my children! You can't go wrong staying here!!!! My only suggestion would be to allow small pets in the future.

Great hotel. A few of the things that impressed me:
*Cleanliness: everything was spotless, bathroom was exceptionally clean
*Quiet: hotel was quiet, A/C/Heat unit ran quietly
*Staff: friendly & helpful
*Convenience-Minded: Several little things that make a stay nicer; such as extra towels (without having to request them), a light over the shower, a blow dryer that actually has the heat & power to dry your hair in a few minutes, etc.

Free water, juice, & cookies available all the time was a nice touch. The pool area was clean & the water was warm enough to make swimming pleasant.

The only suggestions I would make are:
1. The free continental breakfast needs to have at least one breakfast meat available. When we went in to check out the selections the offerings included biscuits & gravy, eggs, toast, donuts, cereal, milk, coffee & juice. The addition of bacon or sausage would be nice.
2. The front desk needs a bell. The hotel wasn't overly busy when we were there & sometimes we would stand for several minutes before any employee would realize we were there. A bell would allow them to go about the business they need to do & also allow them to know when a guest was waiting at the front desk for them.

Overall, a great hotel that we wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

Very clean hotel. Staff were exceptionally helpful. Nicest place to stay in the area. Location is right off the interstate, but unlike some of the other nearby hotels, this one is set back so it is quiet. Nearby state park is a nice amenity for daytime activities.

Mid-way between Louisville and Cincinnati. The night clerk was a young man who did a great job. He gave us water and snacks and asked us if there was anything else we needed, and we asked for extra pillows. He had extra pillows in the room before we could get our car unloaded an get to our room. Pool was large and clean. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

I have to tell you that you have an OUTSTANDING staff at your Holiday Inn Express in Carrollton. Judy Chatham’s customer service is off the charts and so are her staff.

Our company is Onsite Management Group or OMG, LLC as we go by. Our corporate office is in Louisville, KY but we have remote account sites at various places throughout Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Vermont and California. For convenience sake I looked up a Holiday Inn in the Carrollton area for us to have a small Executive Staff meeting because it is centrally located between Cincinnati and Louisville for our staff to meet.

I came across Judy in my search to find a good place for us to meet for a short 5 hour meeting. She was so generous to offer up the breakfast dining area after breakfast hours are over and cleaned up. We just had our second meeting there and Judy and the staff are overwhelmingly generous, thoughtful, accommodating, and so much more. We were absolutely blown away at the customer service.

I will be putting our President at your hotel from now on when he travels from Cleveland to Louisville.
We will certainly recommend Judy’s location to any of our staff, business associates, family, or friends who may be staying in the area. Your hotel is a “must stay” for anyone!! Thank you for providing us this meeting location opportunity and a wonderful staff to boot!

There are a number of chain hotels by the interstate in Carrollton, but you should seek this one out! While it is a bit hard to find as the sign is small, there was a billboard at the interstate exit that advised to turn at the KFC. It was right. It is set back about a block from the highway and is very quiet. The clerk gave us a nice welcome (she is also a Notary Public) and good suggestions for local places to eat. Her suggestion of "Down On Main" was exactly what we wanted. Our room was nice and roomy with a very comfortable bed, refrigerator and microwave. The wireless internet was quick with no issues. Breakfast offered omelets, sausage, biscuits and gravy in addition to the HI sweet rolls, bagels, etc. The attendant was very helpful and even helped keep some children busy by getting coloring books and crayons for them. She was right there every time you needed something. The hotel has the largest baggage carts that we have ever seen in a small hotel. You would have a hard time filling it up! Check out was fast and easy. It was a really good experience.

When returning from a college visit with my teen we ran into foul weather and decided to stop for the night. The experience was excellent from the time I walked in the door until we checked out the next morning. The desk clerk was friendly and got a tired stressed out mom checked in quickly and even recommended a local restaurant for dinner. The room was most importantly spotless but also very large and well furnished and the beds and bedding were luxurious and so comfortable. The breakfast was very well appointed and all of the staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly. If I ever find myself in need of a hotel when I am in there area I will stay here again. Thank You Holiday Inn Express for being a port in the storm.
