On a Sunday around noon time we arrived to eat at this restaurant. The hostess had her back turned to us fiddling with the computer for seven minutes, then finally noticed us. She ran off to clean a table, the restaurant was only half full. She waived her arms in the air as if to guide an airplane onto a runway, calling out across the whole dining room " I got one!!!" Instead of taking the menus and leading us to the table, not very professional! We got our drinks quickly- the hostess had taken the drink order, a cranky depressed waitress was totally thrown off guard when I asked for a menu. Apparently people had given up on menus and were eating from the buffet which was just as appealing as hospital food. It took our cheerless unfriendly waitress another 20 minutes to take an order, only after my husband waived the menu in the air for five minutes. I mention again, not even half the tables of the huge dining room were occupied. The aforementioned hostess came running and informed us she would get us a waitress...really? After another 5 minutes the server could finally be bothered to ask what we would like to order. By that time I had enough and we asked for the check for the tea we had consumed. Ms Sourpuss had the nerve to tell me in a half empty restaurant that they were "busy". I had watched her for twenty minutes, all she had managed was to deliver drinks to another table and mostly hiding behind a pillar. I cannot abide people not doing their job! This was our first and certainly last time in this restaurant, which had all the appeal of an old folks home cafeteria, with dirty windows and no service to speak of. That place is in serious need of new management or some hospitality classes for the waitstaff.
