We were pleased from the very first moment we arrived. Debra was most gracious and down home friendly as she showed us around the spacious house and grounds. Our room (bridal suite) was great. The linens and towels were luxurious along with the most comfortable king bed we have ever slept on. The inn is very new , modern and super clean. The house is also equipped with high speed wireless for you're laptop and dish tv.We enjoyed our privacy as Debra has the house set up with that purpose in mind. The only time we knew anyone else was there was at the wonderful breakfast meal. Oh I forgot to mention the wonderful whirlpool tub in our suite. It was great for relaxing in. We came away so happy with our experience. The breakfast each morning was world class gourmet. Debra is an amazing cook. The location and view were also excellent along with the local recomendations Debra made for dinning and sight seeing. ( We would never known to visit Porky Pig diner in Pig Ky. for some great local pulled pork BBQ) There are so many bad places to stay on a trip it was a real pleasure to find this jewel

My wife and I just returned from Serenity Hill and had a wonderful time. Debra and James were extemely hospitable and made sure we had a great stay. As soon as we drove up, Debra informed us that she just finished cooking a lemon meringue pie. It was a great treat after a long trip to mammoth caves from Illinois. James had numerous dinner suggestions (although they are slightly lacking in Brownsville). We ended up driving to Bowling Green (about a 30 minute drive) and had a great dinner at 440 Main. The next morning, a gourmet breakfast awaited us at 8:30 sharp. Fruit, Crepes, and a wonderful chocolate cherry crepe dessert. After a long day at the cave, we returned to peanut butter chocolate chip cookies in our room. We stayed in the Texas room and it was very comfortable and extremely clean with a very large bathroom. The following morning, we were served a fruit parfait and quiche. Suprisingly, the dessert this day outdid the previous one: caramel praline sauce over a "dutch baby" (a pancake-like pastry). Overall, we had a very positive experience and would certainly return. Feel free to contact me if you have any further questions ([-]).

We were very satisfied with our stay at Serenity Hill Bed and Breakfast. The house was very quiet and the owners were extremely nice and made sure that everything we needed we had. The Breakfast was amazing every morning and just what we needed to get our day of caving started. We stayed in the Garden Room with an amazing view, our room was peaceful and very clean and we felt right at home at all times staying here. We can't say enough great things about the owners and the stay we had at their house. We will be staying at the Serenity Hill Bed and Breakfast again whenever we visit Kentucky.

My fiance and I had an absolutely fabulous stay at Serenity Hill. The owners, Debra and James, are two of the most friendly people we've ever met. We stayed in the Texas room, which was very uniquely decorated, had a large and comfortable bed, and an extremely spacious bathroom. The breakfasts were delicious and creative.
The location is also fabulous if you're in town to visit Mammoth Cave National Park; it's only a 10-minute drive away. The only downside is that you have to drive about 25 minutes to Bowling Green or Cave City to get dinner, although we were pleasantly surprised with how good our dinners in Bowling Green were (at 440 Main and El Mazatlan).
In short, this is a very reasonably-priced place that will provide you with a memorable and comfortable vacation from the hustle and bustle of life.

We chose Serenity Hill because of its proximity to Mammoth Cave and were definitely not disappointed. The B&B was hit by a nasty storm the day before we arrived and the Garden Room (the room we originally booked) had a leak because the roof was damaged. Debra moved us to the Bridal Suite which was a bigger room with a whirlpool tub. The room was spacious and comfortable with a king size bed and very soft linens. Every day Debra provided delicious homemade cookies and complimentary water bottles in our room. As other reviewers have stated, Debra's breakfasts are definitely gourmet. Both she and James were extremely pleasant individuals and I look forward to staying there again!

We happened across an ad for Serenity Hill after deciding to tour Mammoth Cave. The price was great ($80) the views were beautiful, the hosts were so pleasant and the breakfast was wonderful. Our room had a jacuzzi tub which was an indulgence after the cool caves. This was the perfect way to end a physically demanding day. It is the only place I'd consider staying when we come through again.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Debra and her Serenity Hill! This is by far the best bed and breakfast that my husband and I have ever visited. It was affordable, the room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable, the entire house was immaculately clean, the views from the porch are beautiful, the food was AMAZING, and Debra (the owner) was a perfect hostess! I fell in love with this place and will absolutely return!!! Serenity Hill is the place to stay if you want to experience true southern hospitality in a beautiful setting
And I need to add that it's super close to Mammoth Cave and also an easy drive to Bowling Green, where the good restaurants are. Debra can give you good recommendations, as well as directions.
