“What's with the soap?”
Reviewed June 28, 2012

Ok the shower was great but the sliver of soap to share was ridiculous. The blanket was appreciated but it felt like sponge. The tv went off by itself and some of the electric outlets didnt work. To the positive, it was cheap with regular breakfast cereal and close to Corvette museum and manufacturing facility and highway. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this place. There are a couple hotels close by I would stay at instead.

This is probably the worst motel we have ever stayed in. The room was dingy and well used. There were holes in the sheets and linen. On the positive side the air conditioner did work and the shower was clean and had pressure. It is easily accessible to the road.

Room Tip: Not sure there are any good rooms

My girlfriend and I chose this hotel because we were looking to save money for our little week long vacation, and we can honestly say we loved it. At first it was just like whatever it's cheap, then I started reading the reviews on this site and I thought oh no but when we got there we were pleasantly surprised.

There were three things I can say was complaint worthy.
1.) They don't use fitted sheets. There were simply two flat sheets and a couple of blankets on the bed, so every night the sheets came off as we slept. And we peeked in a few rooms that had the doors propped open after cleaning, they were all the same way.
2.) The coffee pot was dirty, and we had to wash it ourselves.
3.) One of the outlet's didn't work, and we had to sit the microwave in the little sink area to use it.

Other than that it was great. Very clean, every time we talked to any staff member they were friendly to us, bed was comfortable and slept great, and the shower was a nice size with plenty of hot water. I can honestly say I've stayed in hotels that cost 2~3x more than this one yet weren't as nice. Maybe we just got lucky with the room, but we would definitely go back.

My husband was traveling back from Ohio and I found this hotel on-line for him that seemed to have very reasonable rates, looked nice on the outside and (falsely) advertised an "InnCredible Breakfast, Including Hot Waffles". We're pretty tight with our money so I said, "OK, he can handle a little mess if the price is right."

He called me this morning after he checked out and here was his report:

1) When he checked in last night, they gave him the key to a "smoking" room. He said the place was in terrible condition. He went back down to the front desk and asked if they had any non-smoking rooms. The clerk shook his head "no". My husband then said, "Well, I think my wife specifically reserved a non-smoking room for me" (which was true). The clerk then looked very annoyed and said, "Well, let's see what we have." Turns out they had one--can you believe it? The only problem with room #2 was that the AC unit didn't work (it was turned on high at the coldest setting and was only putting out lukewarm air). Wonder how it would have felt in there in the middle of summer? His only positive comment was "Well they had hot water and plenty of water pressure." Sounds like a winner!

2) The AC unit on the landing in the stairway had the cover off and it was just laying in the floor.

3) The "InnCredible Breakfast, Including Hot Waffles" wasn't too incredible and didn't even know what cold waffles were. No waffle maker in sight...or much else for that matter. They had bread for toast, bagels, cereal and some biscuits and gravy that even my husband was afraid to eat--which is saying a lot. No fruit, yogurt or any other healthy fuel to get you going in the morning. They did have apple and orange juice though (score!).

Now, let's talk about the coffee maker...He said the thing looked about 20 years old and as he was trying to pick it up, he noticed that the handle was barely hanging on. He had to hold the "handle" in one hand and use NAPKINS in the other hand to pick up the coffee pot and pour the coffee out like that. Safety much? He said some other people came into the lobby after that and he warned them about the coffee pot. About this time, the clerk from the night before came out to check on stuff and everyone was telling him about the coffee pot. He got a very "concerned" look on his face and said, "Hmm? Let's have a look at it" (does this sound familiar?). Like he hadn't noticed every time he made the coffee for the last five years that the coffee pot was in a little worse shape every time he picked it up? Does this man know that he can buy a whole new coffee maker for about $30? That's less than 2/3 of one person's nightly rate! He finally decided the easiest thing would be to pour the coffee into a carafe that was sitting conveniently nearby...like that's what is was there for in the first place!

Needless to say, we would not recommend this hotel to anyone else and I'm sorry I even recommended it to my husband! False advertising, and a lazy clerk among other things. Be warned, weary travelers!

I said acceptable and low cost last review of this place. Unfortunately it has tanked, do not stay here. The bed was buggy and totally worn out, breakfast was terrible, the refrigerator clanked every time it came on waking us up the first night to finally unplug it and the ac was not any quieter. And he charged more than the last time. So quality in the tank and price increase. I'm still itching.

Room Tip: The best room in this place is at any other hotel.

The room Was great but the outside of the place was a mess. Paper trash on the lot and grass was a mess. It is right across the street from the Corvette attraction so location is great,
The breakfast the next day was worthless. Everything was out when we arrived and they were in no hurry to get it going. Seems to have been run by only one family and they wanted to keeps costs down. It was near the attraction so it worked out OK. Wendy's is right down the street.

Disgusting service and housekeeping- boogers on wall, torn sheet on bed, ceiling patched, old building not maintained. The "Inncredible Breakfast" as the sign says, consisted of 3 kinds of cereal, bagles or donuts, with the milk in a jug in a little refrigerator that "everyone" touched. The coffee must have been the cheapest they could find. All of breakfast food had labels typed from computer that had food spilled on the paper label (no one bothered to replace the labels so it was evident they didn't care how it looked). NOTHING about the place was clean and the front desk people didn't show their faces if they could help it.
Do not go here.
