Stayed in this hotel during a softball tournament. The staff was friendly, the rooms were very clean and spacious. Although there is no breakfast provided, the kitchenette was great to have, with a full size refrigerator, small cooktop and microwave, and a few dishes and utensils provided. We also took advantage of the free laundry room to wash uniforms. The beds were very comfortable. Also a great location near the mall and restaurants. Would stay here again.

Room Tip: My room was close to the elevator but never heard it during our stay.

This was a nice hotel for an overnight stay. The suite we got was very well furnished and had everything a person needs if they were to stay in Bowling Green for an extended stay. WE did not get to use the stove or the fridge so I can't comment on them.

Candlewood Suites is fast becoming a favorite chain as we also stayed with chain in Chamblisburg Pa. The hotel rooms are very well put together and very inclusive in their appointments. The patio area in Bowling green could be bigger as we met a few new friends but quickly ran out of seating. I'll definitely be staying here again in the future.

My wife and I stayed here for one night while visiting the Corvette Museum and touring the GM Corvette Plant. The studio suite was immaculate and everything in it worked properly. We were not bothered by neighboring noise and the bed was comfortable. Every time we met/passed a staff member/employee they smiled and spoke to us. We had the easiest check-in and check-out I've experienced anywhere. This type of treatment just makes a trip that much better. Coffee was available throughout the day and night.

Room Tip: The third floor room on the west side was quiet for sleeping.

My wife and I stayed here for one night during our travels. We were promptly greeted at the front desk upon arrival and the check-in process went very smooth. We were upgraded to a Queen Suite.

The queen suite has a bedroom with a door that can be closed to separate it from the rest of the suite. There is a sitting area and a kitchen area with a large table in between that can be used for eating or work. The table can seat 3 people for eating or to hold a meeting. There are four easily accessible outlets at table level.

The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, a microwave, a small stove top range, a dishwasher, toaster, small coffee maker and a small sink for washing dishes. There are dishes and silverware provided and there is ample cabinet space for storing supplies.

There is a dresser in the bedroom and in the sitting area. There are closets in the main room as well as the bedroom, so there is plenty of storage space. There is also a small coffee table in the sitting area. The furniture is a little nicked up, but is not broken.

The bathroom is fairly well lit. The shower head is about 6 1/2' up the wall and has a strong spray. You can set a variety of shower spray settings. One thing to be cautious about is that the bottom of the tub becomes very slippery when you get soaped up. The towels are absorbent, but not very soft. The bathroom does have an exhaust fan to keep it from steaming up when you shower.

The hotel itself is located just off of I-65, but can be a little difficult to find since it is set back off of the main street, behind McDonalds. Wall St. is just a short street that can only be entered from the access road along Scottsville Road. Once you find it, things are pretty simple, but my GPS had trouble locating it when we got close.

There are numerous restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel: McDonalds, IHOP, Burger King, White Castle, Olive Garden, Outback Steak House, Longhorn Steak House, Chevy's Mexican Grill, Arby's, etc. There are also many, many, more restaurants around and in the mall across the street. We chose to walk to Garcia's Mexican restaurant which is about 1.5 miles away. There is also a Starbucks and Walgreens a reasonable walking distance up the street.

The bed was comfortable, but I was disappointed that there were no King size beds available. The blackout curtains worked well and we got a good night's sleep.
