Three of us tried Toot's for lunch today. It was busy and very noisy, part of the ambiance it seems. Service was excellent. I liked the chicken fingers and fries and serving was generous. A friend ordered a burger, and it was huge and rated as good. Chicken wings on the other hand, ordered by the third in our group, was rated as horrid. So if a hectic noisy atmosphere is your thing, it's probably a good gamble.

We were on a road trip and wanted to stop for about an hour... We were looking for an alternative to the typical American chain restaurants. The environment good/fun for the whole family. The quality of the food was average to above average. The value of the food was above average. My only complaint was the slow service. Whether it was the waitress or the cooking team or a little bit of both, our lunch took closer to an hour and a half. We enjoyed it though and would definitely visit again -- especially considering you don't really have a lot of choices to stop on I-65 betwen Nashville TN and Louisville KY.

Wonderful food and we stop each time we go through bowling green Kentucky. They have the best ribs of any restaurant we have found along our path from Chicago to Chattanooga Tennessee. Unfortunately they will run a lot of specials giving discounts. Unfortunately this time we couldn't dine in as we arrived mid afternoon and had some distance left to travel today before stopping. Since we didn't dine in we were told we "don't get the special price". As a result we were charged 22% more for our order the if we had the time to dine in. You would think the restaurant would like travelers stopping and buying food as they pass through whether they could dine in or not, but this restaurant only offers their specialties to locals that can dine in. I think we will look for other places to get our rib fix next time we passing through Bowling Green, KY!

Hours: Open 11 am, Sun-Thu until 10 pm , Fri Sat until 11 pm. Service: Excellent. Waitresses very attentive. Manager? also checking on customers. Food: Very Good. Sports bar type lots of appetizer choices, burgers, fried food. Some lighter chef type salads were available. Steamed broccoli or steamed new potatoes are side choices along with curly fries, kettle chips. The half pound Mexican burger was served open faced with lots of curly fries- enough for a take away for another meal. The burger was juicy and topped with chili, cheddar cheese, jalapenos, and onions- mild, not pronounced ‘Mexican’ flavor Substitutes for fries available. The ribs and pulled pork was ordered with curly fries. Kettle chips with Buffalo Ranch dip was brought instead. Since we had lots of curly fries, it was better with an additional side to try. Dip very flavorful. The ribs were fall off the bone juicy with smoke flavor and sweet BBQ sauce. Pork was also moist. Value: Very good. There was enough to take for two more meals. Atmosphere: Laid back, relaxed, bar restaurant with humorous signs. Tables were well spaced and not jammed together. All the employees were friendly, appearing to enjoy being there, which added to the experience. We weren’t asked if we were first time guests, but some reviewers indicate letting the staff know it’s your first time may qualify for a sample of their fried dill chips. Overall: We were pleased with our first visit and would return again. Excellent attitude and service was Toot’s strongest point for us.
