“Good drinks on a late night”
Reviewed January 12, 2014

We stayed at the Ramada on our trip to Chicago. Before bed, we went to the little bar next door. It was old and rundown but we had a good time. Be sure and bring your ID because you will be carded. I am 52 years old and got carded. We played pool, listened to some music that was half the time Country, half the time Beyoncé! It was fun!

“Food was "fair", Service was very slow”
Reviewed October 11, 2013

For a restuarant in a hotel, this one does not earn much credit. While the menu choices are extensive, the food was only marginally good. Fried food was quite greasy. The worst part was the service. Food preparation took a very long time (partly because there was a moderately large party there) but the availability of the waitress was also very limited - even though our waitress was not serving the large party. While we do not usually enjoy chain restaurants, there are many such ones within a very short distance and that makes this place one to avoid. As a final straw, they do not take American Express even though the hotel does. No good explanation.

“Delicious Cuisine, Large Portions, Wonderful Staff, and Nightly Entertainment”
Reviewed March 4, 2013

Crossroads Bar & Grill is a wonderful restaurant in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
The restaurant is attached to the Ramada Bowling Green. The restaurant is open for dinner only. A band or karaoke plays in the evening. There is a good choice of beverages, happy hour, as well as a diverse menu, and nightly food specials

Chef Michelle does a wonderful job preparing delicious cuisine items using local ingredients when available. We both started with a side salad, which really could have been a main course on its own. For an entrée we had an open face turkey platter and a pork loin dinner. Both meals were presented nicely, very tasty, and the portions were huge. The turkey platter came with thick slices of turkey breast, mashed potatoes, gravy, and home-style green beans. The pork loin was an eclectic mix of thick tender pork, bacon strips, cherries, and more, with a side of mashed potatoes, gravy, and veggie. Both of us needed a take home box.

Luckily we stayed at the attached Ramada Bowling Green and we could just “waddle” back to our very clean hotel room.

Whenever we are in the Bowling Green area we will definitely eat at the Crossroads!
The staff, (Chef Michelle, servers, and bartenders) is friendly and helpful with knowledge of the food items and can tweak the cuisine to meet patron’s palates.
