“Stop here first when visiting Berea KY”
Reviewed April 2, 2012

Give yourself a minimum of one hour to visit this artisan center. It's nice to see all items are from our country, made by local artists and students. Great items for your home, for gifts, for fun. There is a small cafe included in the facility. Sales staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. This is a "must see" when visiting Berea.

“worth stopping at”
Reviewed February 24, 2012

Stunning building perched next to I-75. Great showcase of KY arts, crafts and some foodstuffs. Excellent place to find a gift or valuable KY souvenir or just to browse. Knowledgeable friendly sraff. Immaculate restrooms. Limited menu, but reasonably priced bistro with most items cooked to order.

“Always a great visit”
Reviewed December 21, 2011

Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea is very near I-75.

Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea attempts to provide a sampling of
arts and crafts that are better viewed in the small town of Berea.

It seems that several states have constructed an Artisan Center near N-S or E-W freeways
for tourists who have an interest, but perhaps not the time to visit the nearby shops.

Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea is an excellent representation of quality arts and crafts in a convenient location. If time permits, there is a much greater selection of arts and crafts within a few minutes drive.

Quite honestly, the meal choices are limited and not recommended.

“All about the art”
Reviewed November 25, 2011

berea is all about arts and crafts so the artisan center is the best place to see a wonderful collection of arts and crafts. If you want postcards from Kentucky,,they are there or if you want some Bybee Pottery, they have that too! If you want to have a taste of Kentucky then you can do that too! The Artisan Center is one of my favorite places to spend an afternoon.

“If all rest stops were like this, the interstates would be packed.”
Reviewed October 29, 2011

What a delightful stop whether northbound or soutbound on I-75. Nice parking area, clean restrooms, safe. What more could you ask for? Oh yeah, shopping too. Local crafts and many unique items will tempt you. Even if you don't have 'to go', you might want to stop by and stretch your legs. Nice place!
