We visited on Sunday afternoon, June 6th. Had the pinto beans and cornbread with fried apples. Love the varied menu and "down home" selections. The beans and cornbread were excellent. Was a little taken back that the pinto beans were shown as a vegetarian selection on the menu but still contain meat. I know that's the traditional way of preparing, but a true vegetarian would not be pleased. Wasn't too impressed by the apples, seemed like canned pie filling that had been heated.
My wife had the vegetable plate which is basically four options from the 'sides' offered. All her choices were outstanding.
Great service too. We'll go back anytime we are in the area.
