In downtown Berea near Boonesboro a Tavern and Hotel in an area with artisan shops. Nice place to meet friends and have lunch or light dinner. Also an outdoor seating area. Today we had a but less burger and a Boone Burger. Both good comes with chips or other sides available. Also have interesting desserts tried pecan pie today. Servers are very pleasant. Not fancy but friendly place.

We ate dinner in this casual dining restaurant. Atmosphere is very casual. I had the greek chicken wrap and hubby had the fish and chips. Both were great and service was good. No complaints.

Never have figured out how the bill gets so high here, but it seems like no matter you order, the total for two will be nearly thirty bucks when it's all said and done. Which is a bit more than the food, which is average, is worth

We are in Berea, KY for a couple of days, and a local artisan recommended the Main Street Cafe for lunch. It was a great recommendation! The menu selection was typical yet atypical cafe fare -- they had the expected sandwiches and burgers, but they threw their own twist to them, which made it a unique dining experience. My husband had the burger with fried green tomatoes, and I had the Bluegrass burger, which included ON the burger mozzarella cheese sticks and ranch dressing. We were both very pleased with our choices. In addition to the unique combo of burger fixings that made the burgers tasty, the burgers themselves were cooked well -- not overcooked and dry but just right. The service was excellent. We highly recommend this local eatery if you are ever in the Berea area.
