I love getting the hashbrowns with cheese. I"m always torn between the cheesy eggs and raisin toast or the big breakfast.

Great breakfast. Efficient, friendly servers. Very clean restaurant. Exactly what you expect when you go to a Waffle House - no more, no less.

They opened their first restaurant on Labor Day 1955 when the first Waffle House opened for business in Avondale Estates, an Atlanta suburb. By 2004 they had reached into 25 states with over 1,480 restaurants.

It's hard to imagine how Waffle House can (1) have such good food, (2) do it with such efficiency, and (3) do it at such a good price. ... but they do. Every time we stop at one of their restaurants along the interstate we are surprised anew, and often say to ourselves as we leave, "How can they do this?"
