Great tour and it was free. Tour guides were very informative. In December they do shut down around Christmas. Also 11am tour starts backwards because of their lunch time.

I knew nothing about bourbon when we started this tour. Our guide was well informed and friendly, spending 1 1/2 hours with us! The tour was free. The gift shop was nice and the tasting included chocolates too! I would highly recommend stopping at this distillery.

While not on the official bourbon trail make this a stop while in the area. Alot of great information and the people were very friendly. Had a decent little gift shop as well.

We didn't take the tour as we have toured distilleries before, but we were up for the bourbon tasting. Everyone was nice and knowledgable about making and drinking bourbon. While we didn't care for bourbon, the store had some lovely gifts.

As we traveled across Ky, by accedent we came upon Barton Distllery. we needed a break and stopped. The guide really took the time to explain the process and the quality that goes into there 1792 Bourbon. It was a fun break and very informational. Not only do they do there own brew, but they bottle for many other companys. We now wish we had planned a full day to do the KY bourbon tour. A small sample at the end was just perfect.
