“A lot of food”
Reviewed July 8, 2012

We ate dinner here while in Bardstown. Our server was the bartender-she was very knowledgeable and friendly. The atmosphere in the restaurant-is nothing spectacular. It looks like an old pizza hut or something that has been converted.

I ordered a glass of wine and fish (the fish was good, served with a side, salad and bread).
My husband ordered a pork chop and beer-he said his was good.

Overall this wasn't a bad meal, just not a great meal. Average.
Our server was great though. Very good service. The atmosphere was just basic and the tables were close together.

“Great lunch spot for Bourbon Trail”
Reviewed July 8, 2012 via mobile

We stopped to have lunch before hitting our last 2 distilleries. burgers and BLT were so good. Had a very cute, honest waitress and it was a great little cool spot to cool off from the July weather. Highly recommend- very good.

“GREAT experience!”
Reviewed July 8, 2012

We visited this restaurant based upon the recommendation of innkeepers,Todd and Tyler, of Maple Street Manor in Springfield, KY. We had a blast. There were 13 of us converging on their staff, and the food and service couldn't have been better . The owner was so gracious and visited our table many times. We tend to be a very lively group :-), and they seemed to have fun with us - as did the surrounding tables! Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! :-) We assured our innkeepers that they are making a great recommendation when suggesting Bourbon Street Bistro.

“Very average”

Basically uninspired but not terrible. Good service, nice staff but basically slightly upscale from a diner food.

“Excellent service”
Reviewed July 2, 2012

Our waitress was very personable an accommodating to our menu change requests (creating a child's portion of a regular menu item, with one ingredient substitution) and refilled our drink glasses regularly, as needed. Good food portions, nice atmosphere. Highly recommended! (Indeed, was recommended to us by owner of our rental cottage, "The Colonel." Excellent family meal.
