Have stayed here several times. We like the full kitchen and spacious rooms. Housekeeping could use improvement. Ask for a room on the second floor--the floors squeak badly and if someone upstairs is walking around it can be very disturbing.

Having the name Wyndham attached to this hotel name, I thought it would be fairly nice even though it appeared to be an old property. I got ready for bed, pulled the covers back, stepped over to turn off the light above the bed & when I went towards the bed to get in, there was a spider about an inch or more wide with long legs walking towards the edge of the mattress. I got some Klee I'd and killed it. It didn't make for an easy feeling going to sleep. We took the tissue with the dead spider to the front desk the next morning. Asked if the manager was in. We were told, no, probably not until 9:00 or maybe 11:00 if she didn't come in at 9:00. The girl at the front desk said she would be sure to tell her. A bit later I went to check out & asked if the manager had come in. The answer was no. The girl at the front desk said she would tell her and show her what we had given her. She said she was sure she would want to give me a call & see if there would be anything she could do for me. I didn't ever hear anything. This was in Wichita, Kansas & our first night of vacation. There was never an offer to take anything off the cost for the night or anything. Can't recommend this at all!!! I've stayed at many motels/hotels and have NEVER experienced anything like this before!
First let me thank you for staying with our hotel. It seems there was a lost of communications. Let me start to repair that. We do appreciate your feedback and comments. The summer months brings a peak of insect activity, which brings on a large population of spiders which in this area is common. We have active measure to control and pretreat our hotel, but again this is nature. I hope to see you again for future reservations. Please feel free to call me directly.
I was pleased that they upgraded us at no extra charge. The room we were up were upgraded to at first looked cleaned, but when we were getting ready bed we found a beer can, dirty utensils, and confetti in the pull out couch bed. There was also a used milk cartoon on top of the curtains. The exhaust can in the master bathroom was very loud also. The other room we had was very clean and worked out great. Other than that the stay was nice.
