“Another Historic Drury Inn”
Reviewed June 12, 2013

We were originally booked at the Hampton East, but found it too far out of town. This is our third stay in a Drury [San Antonio, St. Louis] and they are all in remodeled historic buildings. The breakfast is always good at Drury except for bagels that are just round bread with a hole in the middle. I guess OK if you are accustomed to Lenders instead of NYC. We had a room facing the river. If your GPS is not up to date, put in the address instead of Drury Inn. We were disappointed with the wine in St Louis, so we opted for the beer at the happy hour. The food is plentiful might best for kids. Skip it and go to a restaurant. There is one in the hotel. Parking garage is convenient across the street via a covered walkway, but there is a parking fee. You can walk to the Century II Convention Hall for the symphony or you can eat at the Harvest in the Hyatt at Century II and get free parking for the symphony. The service at Drury is very good and all the employees enjoy working for Drury and they are friendly and helpful. It is a short ride to the art museum along the river. We walked to Bricktown historic district and see historic buildings and many outdoor sculptures along the way.

Was in Wichita for a child's antic competition - team staying at this hotel. Had never stayed at a Drury held. Expectations were exceeded immediately by its beautiful location, right on the river; lobby reminiscent of the glory days of hotels, with lots of architectural embellishments; front desk staff and dining staff that were so friendly and service-oriented that I really felt like my comfort was really important to them. Room was very clean and modern, wifi was free, food was great, and the pool and spas were very nice. Would absolutely stay here again, and will certainly look for Drury hotels in other cities to which I travel.

Wow! The property is large and full of amenities. If all Drurys are like this, I hope to be a repeat customer. I mean really, you can't beat free drinks at happy hour :)

Location: if you're walking, it's a bit of a hike to restaurants/ other attractions. But there's a great free trolley system in Wichita - just hop on board.

Five family members traveled to Wichita to watch our grandson participate in the Kansas State High School Track Meet. Our son-in-law chose our accomodations. Although we weren't available for the evening reception, the complimentary breakfast was varied and and tasty and its mezzanine location was spacious. Our rooms were large, well-appointed and comfortable. Without exception staff members were helpful and pleasant. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at the hotel's resononably priced restaurant. The Broadview's location along the beautiful River Walk was a bonus we all appreciated, runners and walkers alike. The visit was too brief, but we left Wichita KNOWING we wanted to stay at the Drury Plaza Broadview again! Do we have to wait until next year's state track meet to return?

We stayed here with our Wedding Party. We spent lots of time researching and visiting hotels for guests to stay in the area but the atmosphere and the staff at the Broadview won out.

The stay was exceptional, unfortunately no bar so the after-reception-party continued elsewhere. But the extra including a great breakfast and afternoon snacks and drinks really make all the difference.

Watch out for the attached restaurant/bar (Avi) - it is not run by the hotel (contracted out) and the staff are unhelpful and quite rude!

We had a large family group going to a family members graduation so we needed 2 large suites. From the time we entered this immaculately restored hotel until we left we received nothing but the best guest service and accommodations!! Rooms were very spacious, laid out well and lots of extras. Lots of security features as well including entry doors and elevators. The location is perfect for any downtown events or conventions! As always with Drury the morning breakfast and evening drinks/food, all included, were just great! The staff including Audrey, Debra, Michelle, and Eric (and several others who's names i forgot) were all very friendly, helpful, smiling, sincerely welcoming, and just very pleasant!

We stayed at this location this past weekend while in town for graduation. This was our first stay with Drury, as we normally stay at Hampton when we travel. We chose Drury because of the location and swimming pool and found much more! From check in to check out EVERY staff member that we encountered was super friendly and helpful! The room and location were beautiful. We loved the food and drink offerings from 5:30 to 7 as well as the popcorn and refreshments all day. The breakfast was great too! Our little boy became friends with Costello, who was cooking pancakes and stopped to visit with his "Friend". We had so much fun! Drury will be our hotel of choice from here on out! Thank you!
