“Great deep dish”
Reviewed April 2, 2012

We normally like thin crust but stepped out of our element at old Chicago and were impressed. At first we ordered an individual style artisan style pizza and didn't like it so we got the Deep dish Chicago seven, and we were like "omg this is good!" we watch calories, so we split the individual size and am glad we did bc it was worth every calorie.

“Open Late, good, fresh food. We're happy”
Reviewed March 25, 2012

We go to Wichita every April and have a booth at the Gem & Mineral show at the Cessna Activity Center. We stay in a hotel up on Webb road, not too far away. We were absolutely thrilled to find Old Chicago last year, and ate there every night except one. The one off night, we tried the Texas Roadhouse, and went right back to Old Chicago the next night. The first four years we did the show, all we could find were fast food places way down the road by Walmart, or PF Changs north on Webb, which is always delicious but more than we can afford as travelers eating out two meals a day for 6 days. We'll be going back to Old Chicago this April - you can have a salad, a burger, or you can go with Italian. The servers are friendly and the drinks are good and, THEY'RE OPEN LATE! Our booth closes late and after working 12 hours we're usually starving. We were THRILLED to find Old Chicago. My ratings below as far as cost per person - I wish we could choose both a single $ and a double $$. You can eat for 10 dollars or so

“Decent deep dish pizza, but no special flair”
Reviewed March 1, 2012

You can make a deep dish pizza with very standard ingredients, without much in the way of special spices, and you'll have a decent pizza, satisfying but not really special. That's Old Chicago restaurant. The ambiance of the restaurant is fairly nice with booths and some high tables. The service is decent, and the staff friendly. Still, it's a nice place in Old Town.
