“Photography Fun”
Reviewed April 10, 2012

I went there when the flowers were in full bloom. It was a family day so the prices were discounted and the shots I got were great! I highly recommend going here if you have out of town guests and kids.

“Great flowers”
Reviewed March 29, 2012

I don't visit it often, but if you like a peaceful place with some wonderful flowers and plants this is it. This time of year they have some great tulip displays.

“Botanica's outdoor gardens is now a treat for kids as well as adults”
Reviewed March 27, 2012

Some years back we discovered Botanica, a botanical garden in a quiet neighborhood just off downtown Wichita, near the river. This spring we found they have added a large children's garden with colorful kids stuff including a huge tree house. Also a butterfly house. Wheelchair accessible, too, so bring your relatives and friends. We borrowed their wheelchair and pushed mom through the whole place in about an hour. There's an admission charge, but it you have a Garden membership in your city, show your card and get in free. Open every day. Good parking in the park. No food. Restrooms only at the entrance.

“Love this place!”
Reviewed March 26, 2012

My husband and I and our four daughters visited the gardens on March 24th, Fairy Festival Days. We loved it! Very beautiful. Perfect place to bring your children dressed up and take lots of photos of them. There were some others who had even brought extra outfits to change into. Great place to bring a picnic, relax and enjoy. The childrens area is awesome! If we come to Wichita again, we would visit the garden on another Fairy Festival Day. They had activities for the children because of the festival. I would probably make the trip in April so that even more flowers were in bloom.
