For those of you who ever think about cleanliness in a restaurant I want to share the following observations from my last visit to Eggtc. in Shawnee. First I watch the busboy remove everything from a dirty table. Then he cleaned the table top and rim meticulously, and wiped each condiment container as he returned them to the table. After that he washed every menu, and the seats. He finished by sweeping under the table. I observed a waitress delivering wine to a table and she was holding the glasses by the stems, not the bowl. A different waitress delivered our water glasses which she carried near the base, not the rims. This may seem silly to some but in this especially bad flu season, I certainly appreciate this attention to proper service.
