“NICE ZOO MAN!!”
Reviewed November 7, 2013

Great fall afternoon at a very nice zoo. Very nice museum inside, cool displays, our little boy freaked out at first when the human replicas started moving and talking caught on to it a little further into it when we seen some more. Lions roared, the bears hanging out in a lazy hammock chair, Rhinos tried to pee on us and some others several times (funny), giraffes, paint dogs were really neat to see, monkeys were going crazy over something, lots of neat animals. Good time.

“Very nice experience off the interstate.”
Reviewed October 22, 2013

We had always seen the signs for Rolling Hills when we drive through to visit family. We decided to stop this time after a good recommendation. We were glad we did as it was a great time. Once we entered the park we were greeted by the loud roars of one of the resident lions. The park had a nice layout and you could get up close. We encountered Lynn who shared her knowledge of the park with us. Everyone was very friendly and seemed to appreciate that we were there. An extra bonus for us was that we were there on a Monday and it was quiet.

Happy travels!

“Great Fun”

A great zoo to visit. The closest have ever been to a rhino. Large open spaces to wander about with many animal species to view. If you enjoy viewing animals and are in the area, would definitely recommend stopping here and enjoying the place. The diorama in the museum is the most impressive we have ever seen with the animals in their natural habitat.

“Great Zoo”
Reviewed August 13, 2013

I was here with a group of college students, and they enjoyed it. If we are in the area again we would consider a visit.

I've also been to many other zoos with my elementary-aged son, and it would have been great for him and other kids of most any age. It is well laid out, not too big, and the focus is on the animals. Clean and well-maintained. It also has an indoor diorama and animatronics area which was nicer than I expected and would be a good break if it rained or was really hot.
