I have eaten at Urban Table for breakfast, lunch & dinner. The menu is eclectic and offers numerous interesting choices, especially in the sandwich & salad categories. The place gets very good marks for fresh ingredients and intriguing flavor combinations. I can't quite make up my mind about the atmosphere -- it's casual yet also trying to be upscale and sort of postmodern. You have couch like seats with pillows on one side of the indoor part and hard, unadorned tables on the other side with uncomfortable chairs. The glassed in area with tables outside the main dining room seems like kind of an afterthought but it's OK and certainly adds extra seating. The bar is not very big/long but pretty cool & opens to both the indoor part and the glassed in area.
As for price-value, the entrees seem a little over priced for dinner given the casual atmosphere and how quickly you will finish your meal. It just isn't a "linger over dinner' kind of place. Regarding the wine selection, someone really knows what they're doing - very interesting line-up at all price points (same can be said for their sister place down the street, BRGR).
The service is well above average and attentive although there is a bit of a "table turnover" atmosphere.
OK the bottom line for me is that this is a welcome addition to the suburban restaurant scene but probably fits better for lunch than dinner. However, if you like a lively place with lots of menu choices to mix & match a dinner, you will be more than happy with Urban Table.
