a nice place to go for a walk and take in nature at the perfect price - FREE, but donations are welcomed - it is the closer to my house and more of a "walk" - but my family enjoys Earnie Miller in olathe more (for the same price :) - Earnie Miller is more of a "hike" with dirt paths, whereas the Arboretum is mostly all paved and you can take a stroller.

Can't beat this natural garden area. Great gardens and water displays. Train garden an extra. Worth much more than the $3.00 entrance fee.

We had a great walk. Our grandson loved the train depot. I loved the Monet Garden. My daughter loved the sculptures. There is so etching for everyone and they even let you walk your dog. We try to visit at least once a month. Cannot wait until Stems, their fundraiser!

We went in early spring just after a late freeze, so some of the flowers had been bitten by the late blast of cold weather. Most perennials have not yet come up, and the trees have not budded. Even so, the "skunk lilies" were extraordinary! The walking paths and water features are lovely, and the place was packed due to a kite festival! Three trains were running in the train garden. i will definitely go back once spring comes to Kansas!
