I decided to try out El Sol with my wife today. It mush have been pretty busy because when we entered, we ended up having to wait a few minutes until someone acknowledged that we were there. The entire time there was someone else in front of us and a couple other people entered after us and was waiting in a line to be seated. All throughout the meal it was like that, as if there were not enough waiters there.
I ordered the Burrito el Sol and my wife had the Carnitas Platter. I thought the burrito was pretty bland and tended to leak grease from the ground beef, but my wife liked her meal a lot.
At the end, they had us pay at the register in the front rather than at the table which was probably a good thing since it would have likely taken forever to get back to us.
It was a decent little place, but I liked El Mezcal down the road a little more.
