Description: First and foremost, Johnny’s is a steakhouse complimented with a rich Italian background featuring traditional and innovative items and a superior wine list. The look is metropolitan with the feel of the supper clubs of yesteryear. The sophisticated design of the restaurant is welcoming and warm; the illuminated lighting creates an air of mystique and privacy. The classic sounds of Sinatra, Dean and Sammy Davis, Jr. as well as contemporary crooners like Michael Buble and Harry Connick Jr. surround the restaurant and infuse an aura and rhythm all of it’s own. A glowing neon Blue Bar™ invites you for cocktails served on the custom granite bar or to relax on soft seating in the lounge; enjoy classic martinis, specialty cocktails and a selection from our extensive wine list. Johnny’s offers lunch, dinner, and breakfast in hotel adjournment settings. Heavy velvet draperies not only add to the aura but create private dining areas within the restaurant. With new-fashioned luxuries and old-fashioned service and hospitality, Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse brings the Rat pack era to the 21st Century.

“Perfect date spot in Olathe”
Reviewed August 8, 2013 via mobile

Because Johnny's is located inside a Marriott, I had never noticed it. After seeing it on TA, my hubby and I checked it out. The atmosphere and decor is very nice, dark and sophisticated. The bar area is small but elegant. We were seated in the main restaurant which was fairly busy on a Monday night. We were seated next to a loud group of 6-7, who got louder the more they drank. The music playing was Frank Sinatra. We started with the sausage bread. It was delicious and could have been a meal in itself. The house salad was good. I had cedar plank salmon and it was very good, just a little overcooked for my taste. Hubby ordered the Italian combo and it was so-so. The chicken parm was extremely average, the Alfredo was yummy, the sirloin overcooked. The bill was $68 for 2, with one cocktail and no dessert. We would definitely go back for drinks and appetizers at the bar.

“Good hotel resturant”
Reviewed August 8, 2013

Food was well done and creative. They have a separate gluten free menu with very nice choices. Service could have been a bit better, but overall this was a good place to have a business dinner.

“Upscale Italian dining”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

Olathe has more than its share of fast food, so an actual upscale Italian place was nice to see here. They even had a nice beer selection.

“Great food”
Reviewed June 18, 2013

The food and service were both excellent. The limonchello cake was an excellent choice for desert. Played soothing Sinatra music in the background as well.
