Our cabin(#3) was comfortable, and had a great view of Milford Lake. Number 4 and 5 also have great views. For larger groups, Cabins 6 and 7 are close to the lake.

Beautiful Peaceful Campground (we stayed at Hickory Hollow); well kept, lovely pull through site, back faced woodland area, front faced lake view and grassy field; we saw a flock of wild turkeys (11)!
Full hookups $23.50, $5 fee at gate; Gatekeeper not very friendly, but Camp Host Rich wonderrful!
Would stay again! We visited Eisenhower’s Home and Library. Many museums in area.

We were very fortunate to here about Milford Lake from a native of Harper Ks, who visited the area several times while attending K-State football games!
We had a great time at a beautiful site right off the lake at Cedar Point Campground (we camped on a Monday night enroute to Nashville)
Therefore plenty of sites available with wonderful sunset views and peace and quiet surroundings!
10 minutes from Junction City Kansas
Loved it —great spacious sites, very reasonable prices for water and electricity!

It's a really long (and uneventful) journey from Colorado Springs to St. Louis, so we picked a random state park along I-70 to camp at over night. Milford turned out to be perfect. Nice primitive camping at a much better price than most states offer these days. A lovely beach to swim at. Outdoor showers. ??? What! I don't think I would have cared much for the showers had there been other people around, because they don't offer much more privacy that the ones back in gym class....but it was a weeknight and I was the only one in there, so it was kind of a fun change of pace. I was watching the dragon flies buzzing around though, and got to thinking about drones...so I hurried up and got dressed! We didn't have time to avail ourselves to many of the park's amenities, but if I were ever back in the area I would plan ahead to spend a longer time there. The staff members we met were all friendly and pleasant.

Really enjoyed our stay here! We had two on the one bedroom/studio cabins and I was very impressed. Due to our late booking this is all they had and was a bit small for a family of four but we made due. Cabins come fairly well equipped with everything you need for a weekend and quite clean. We were at a dead end street and only one other cabin was there and we never even saw he other people. It was nice because we also had a boat and the lake was only 150 or so feet from the cabin so we could pull up and drop off as we needed. Another great thing is they had multiple boat launches and the one we used was never very busy even on Saturday.

We were there mainly to just relax on one of the beaches but also got some wiper fishing in. Two nights of fishing for a couple hours at sunset yielded 8 nice wipers as well as a few walleye, catfish and white bass.

Only thing I recommend is that if you are a family of four, I’d recommend a 2 bedroom cabin. We were definitely packed in there come bed time and tough to reach the bedroom in the night. The lifts really aren’t big enough for sleeping IMO. Overall great place though!
