We had a great stay in a great town in the beautiful Flint Hills. Very good breakfast and friendly staff. Comfortable and clean rooms. We stayed over night to go to a K State basketball game. Would stay again for sure.

Walking into our room (2 queens) had our eyes wide. We were amazed at the space and cleanliness of it. It's definitely perfect for a family, and for once we did not have to be scrunched together - we actually had walking room, even with a pack-n-play set up. The service was a bit slow & we had to ask for a portable crib twice, but I usually overlook small annoyances so it didn't bother me. The heater works well and is pretty quiet actually. I will be staying here for all future trips to Manhattan (and I take a LOT). We very much liked this hotel, one of our faves!

The lady checking us in was incredibly rude and unfriendly, and did her best to make us feel unwelcome even though we are respectable members of the local community (i.e. K-State faculty). To make things even better, the room we were given did not have a functioning fridge. After much back-and-forth she finally allowed us to move to a different room with a working fridge. While checking out the next day we asked to speak to the manager in order to lodge a complaint, who was unavailable. The check-out person assured us that he would call us back. He did not. We called back a few more times asking if he was able to speak to us. He was never available, and he never returned our calls either. We are neither staying at this property ever again, nor are we recommending it to any of our friends or K-State colleagues. With so many new hotels opening in Manhattan there are now plenty of superior alternatives available.

All we needed was a clean, quiet, comfortable room with pleasant people on staff. This hotel was just right, and a good value. Even the parking was no hassle. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Thank you for staying with us and we hope to have you visit many more times. Your kind words are welcomed by the staff that tries so hard to make our hotel your home away from home. Thank you again for choosing our hote.

Very modern rooms with great amenities like a microwave, fridge, and nice TV. However, at $89 a night, I would expect a pool. The kids were extremely disappointed there were no donuts for breakfast. This hotel is designed for the business person--not a family.

The beds are very comfortable. The bathroom was clean, but be careful--the shower/tub is very slick. Both of my boys slipped and fell when getting in. There were crumbs in a couple different places on the carpet.

Upon check-in, the young man was a little frazzled as there were several families in front of my checking in as well. He apologized several times for my wait. Not a big deal. At check out, the young lady was very nice and friendly.

The location of the hotel is somewhat awkward to me. While in a convenient location without a ton of traffic, there are no restaurants within walking distance. There is some type of fast food taco joint next door, though. The hotel is almost in a residential area.

Lisa,

Thank you for your comments. We do not advertise that we have a pool nor is it listed on our website. We do feel that we are family friendly and a majority of our business is family. We have the beautiful Longs' Park right across the street for children and pets to play. Our many breakfast items include 5 different kinds of muffins and cinnamon rolls. Besides the mexican fast food next door there is also a Thai restaurant and Peoples' Grocery right next door also serves soup and sandwiches that are to die for. Our job is to provide you a clean, safe and well maintained property for your stay. Again thank you for your comments.

The amenities are great as well. I have enjoyed my stay and look forward to coming back next year.

Room Tip: The King room is well worth the price

Wow, $81.00 per night with AAA card. What a nice place. Quiet, very nice rooms, very nice beds and large flat screen TV. Very clean and very nice front desk. So surprised with this newer hotel. Serves a nice hot breakfast, free DVD,s. Just a great deal. Don't think they had a pool, but not sure. No restaurant, but several nearby. Stay here.

Room Tip: Ask for a north facing room. A little more quiet. But all are pretty good and quiet.
