Thank goodness the beds were comfortable, cause everything else surrounding the bed was as cheaply provided as possible. The carpet in the hall was filthy. The bathroom was dark, not enough light to take out my contacts, not enough to apply makeup. The alarm clock was broken. The television had lines and bad volume. The breakfast was an assembly of the cheapest and least tasteful breakfast items one could possibly assemble. Every short cut that could possibly be made to cut costs unfortunately cut any feeling of value and quality. I would much rather have fewer choice of good food than an assembly where all the plastic wrappings and containers look better than the food being offered.

I've stayed here with my family of four and by myself when in town on business. The rooms are always clean and spacious. When staying with the family, we get the two queen suite with the couch with the fold-out bed, which is ample room for us. The breakfast selection is great too, lots to choose from and very tasty. The staff is always friendly and very helpful.

The good: Modern, clean room, although a bit cramped. Excellent front desk service. Comfortable bed. Plenty of towels. Location is excellent, right by many stores and restaurants and about a mile from K-State campus. Ample free parking.

The not-so-good: The free breakfast was a bit meager. Only one waffle maker for the entire breakfast area. Same powdered eggs every day, no other cooked choices. Orange juice machine was broken for two days. Housekeeper left room door ajar on one day of the stay. Noisy, somewhat smelly A/C. Internet access on the slow side and sometimes unreliable.

The hotel is very nice. Looks very nice on the outside and the lobby area as well. The room we stayed in for 5 nights was spacious, with 2 queen beds and nightstand along with a closet and dresser with LCD TV on top, on one side of the divider. On the other side you have a sofa sleeper and matching chair with a coffee table along with 2 other tables made into a desk. Also on this side was a cabinet that had a refrigerator inside and a coffee pot and microwave on top. The bathroom had a large granite counter as well as granite shower walls. The beds were okay but not as nice as some of the beds in Mexico. The worse part about the room was the few fly's that stayed with us and also my wife and I couldn't count the number of ants that we killed in the bathroom, and the couple she killed in bed.

Room Tip: We had a ground floor room that was very convenient to get to the full breakfast served every mornin...

Passing through, stayed one night. Front desk service was fantastic, quick and the room was clean (the entire hotel seemed brand new). We missed breakfast, but it looked like a great spread. Free Wi-Fi. The AC in the room worked well, and the bed was super comfy. My only gripe would have to be the parking lot. It's planned kind of poorly, and there aren't nearly enough spaces. Last evening when we returned from dinner, there were only two available spaces. And I don't believe the hotel was completely full.

Very clean, new looking facility. Big rooms, comfy bed. Breakfast was the usual fare but amped up a little with fixings for burritos and a nice area to eat in. We were traveling on I-70 and decided to get off the highway a ways and we were very happy we did. Manhattan was a very nice town and this hotel added to a good experience.

We have stayed at this motel 2 times in 2 years. It is close to lots of eating places and walking distance to Walmart. It is very close to the Kansas State Campus. The beds and pillows are very nice and clean. For breakfast they serve bacon, sausage, scramble eggs (not as good), lots of breads, yogurt, fruits, juices, coffee and cereals. We will always stay here when in Manhattan, KS.
