“Not The Cider Mill Experience We Grew Up With”
Reviewed September 25, 2013

Growing up in MI, we always made an annual trip to the local cider mill where there was an apple orchard, walking trails, you could see the cider and donut making process up-close, so this was a complete disappointment compared to our prior experiences at a cider mill. We were in Kansas City visiting, so we drove out to the cider mill...but it was basically a store selling products. Although, we did the corn maze which was fun but all-in-all it was not worth the effort of driving out to the country side to visit.

“Save your time and money”
Reviewed September 22, 2013

The cider and donuts were good and that's where all of the good stopped. It smelled like farm animals and overused portable toilets and rotting fermenting apples.

The kid zone is lame and a shameless cash grab. The maize maze was okay but certainly not worth paying anything to go through.

They did give me my money back after telling them how disappointing the entire 'experience' was.

Complete waste of time and will never go back. Can't think of a single reason anyone would ever go twice, so I suggest you never go once.

“Quaint little store, great doughnuts”
Reviewed June 4, 2013

Cute little country store ( they were not making cider at the time). Get the cider doughnuts while they are hot! Purchase apple cider or Lost Trail sodas. The spice selection is amazing. Lots of other things to see in Louisburg, like Somerset Winery. Great little town!

“Fun and Yummy!”
Reviewed May 15, 2013

Our family craves the Louisburg Cider Doughnuts! Open the door and the wonderful scent of the doughnuts greets you. I make trips to the Cider Mill just to purchase my spices. The packaging and pricing of common spices and some unique ones makes it well worth the trip (plus you have an excuse to go eat a doughnut and drink some yummy cold cider!) We also enjoy the packages of snacks, candies, soup and dip mixes, honey sticks and more!
The Cider Fest is always good for a fun trip with booths, crafts, pumpkins and of course-- the doughnuts!

“Great Apple Cider”
Reviewed March 27, 2013

We visited here several times during the fall holidays and enjoyed the arts and crafts as well as the cider making process.

It's a great place to visit but the food is a bit rich and probably not good for you but it sure tastes good.

Visit them in October and get your pumpkin.
