Nothing fancy here but a fun place to have a beer and sandwitch. A lot of very nice local in there at night. Mark, the owner, is a hoot! Great valu.

“Nothing like a Viking welcome”
Reviewed July 1, 2011

Being a stranger in Lindsborg is like walking around a foreign country until a conversation reminds you the person across from you is speaking with a Mid-western American accent. Walking into Ol Stuga, you may think it is out of this country but then the sound of the locals will bring you around. An exotic beer on tap would be the Boulevard Pale Ale for $3.50 other domestics $2.50. There is a lot of great memorabilia on the walls and Mark who is featured in many of the black and white photos will likely be close to the bar. We had a couple of sandwiches that were served up hot and tasty. The German sausage was topped with good kraut and the Italian sub was piled so high with deli meat that it is difficult to bite through it all.
By and large we had a good experience at Ol Stugas even though we never got a smile out of the bar maid and she didn't seem really talky either. Straight to the point, "What do you want?". She was a good sized girl that I'm sure could hold her own when the crowd is rough. I will go there again just to have one more shot at a grin, there must be one in there someplace.
