Crown plaza was a very nice hotel. Plenty of amenities, 10 dollar all you can eat breakfast in the lobby, was steep considering other hotels like Hyatt place serves a similar breakfast for free. The staff was the most friendliest I've encountered in a long time. No pool outside, but there was a small pool near the lobby. Overall this hotel was nice, but if I was paying the full price for this hotel, I would be upset about the 10 dollar breakfast. I purchased this reservation via Hotwire.

Hotel was very clean and service was very courteous. Nice Sunday breakfast buffet for very reasonable price of $10/person.

This hotel is not really new but the rooms are clean and the hotel is maintained. They are close to the American Girl store and have a package that includes a bed for your doll and breakfast for your group. We had fun!

Thank you for your comments. We are excited to have partnered with the American Girl Store. Our package is priced right for a great time by all family members. Although our facility is not new, we are excited about the changes happening at the hotel today. We are presently under some renovation at this time that will give us new carpet, furnishings, restaurant, etc. We are excited to bring to you a new look. On your next travels to KC we hope that you will come see us again. Safe Travels. Jerry Albert

Service was excellent from the front desk to the lounge & breakfast buffet!
Our room was immaculate, fresh smelling & very clean - even had a little sleep kit containing ear plugs, sleep mask & linen scent. Shower worked great. Free WiFi was super fast. Appreciated having hair dryer & iron in the room; lots of pillows; comfy chair w ottoman to sit on, etc.
LOVED the king sized sleep number bed - just like home - got a great night sleep!!
Food was excellent - we had a casual dinner in the lounge and the breakfast buffet!
The hours food service was available was very broad.

The only thing missing that would have been nice is a small frig (needed to keep medicine cold and the heat outside was extreme).
Location was just 4 miles from our destination points - easy access (we were even able to avoid the freeway during road construction).

This place is great. I showed up here not knowing what to expect but was very presently surprised. The rooms look newly remodeled and the huge redwood atrium is a great place to hang out. The best thing about the hotel was the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly. The beds were comfortable, the AC was cool and the steak in the restaurant was tasty.

Room Tip: Ask for the rooms in the tower.

I have stayed at this property on at least occasions. The decor in the hotel is a little outdated, but not a bad hotel at all. Your kids can swim and the breakfast buffet for $10 per person is a little pricey. You could get the same breakfast at a Choice Hotel.

Fire alarm went off at 6 am. Evacuated the building as told by the front desk. After being told we could return, I decided to eat breakfast which was suppose to be complimentary for signing up for the Priority Club. Told by the waitress that the front desk had no record of my signing up for the Prioity Club, and that I would have to pay for my breakfast. Then i discovered the elevators were out of service, so I had to walk up 4 flights of stairs to retrieve my bags and haul them down the 4 flights. Definitely NOT customer oriented! Recommend you stay somewhere else!

Thank you for taking the time to let me know about your experience at our hotel. I want to first apologize for the inconvenience that you encountered. The Priority Club program is a great program that offers additional benefits for our guests. I see from your comment our procedures were not followed through. I will address this immediately with our Guest Service Manager and reveiw where our shortfall was. As far as the elevators, they are required to go on standby when the fire system goes off and we are not able to restore power to them till the Fire Deparmtent give us the OK. I am not sure how long they were down but I am so sorry that you encountered this issue during your stay. I can assure you this is a very rare occurence that happens at our facility. Again please accept our apologies and I hope that you will give us another opportunity to regain your confidence in us. Jerry
