“A must for anyJayhawk fan or anyone considering attending KU”
Reviewed June 30, 2013

The Booth Family Hall of Athletics is conveniently located at Allen Field House. The displays are very well done and portray the athletic traditions and accomplishments at The University of Kansas. We were thrilled to also go inside the field house while we were there. Parking conveniently located in the Allen Fieldhouse garage.

“A basketball bit of manna”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

You really do not have to be a Jayhawk fan to enjoy the Booth Family Hall of Athletics, but it does help. K.U.'s storied tradition of basketball success is headlined in this entrance to the cathedral of basketball, Allen Fieldhouse. And soon, Dr. James Naismith's original rules of basketball will be displayed here. As an indicator of the Jayhawk tradition, Dr. Naismith, the inventor of basketball, is the only coach in the history of K.U. basketball to have a losing record. There are trophies, ranging from the historic Big 6 to more recent National Championships. And interactive games for the kids.

Attached to Allen Fieldhouse, this is a great stop before a game. Even opposing fans have to admire all of the history on display. Great stop for any fan of college basketball.

“Rock Chalk Jayhawk!”

If you are a basketball fan or a KU fan or both, you have to see this. There are interactive exhibits and displays filled with history. My kids love to visit the field house and see the old Jayhawk costume on display.

“Like being a kid in a candystore”
Reviewed March 9, 2013

If you are a Jayhawk fan, the Booth Family Hall of Athletics is the gift that keeps on giving. While primarily devoted to Kansas basketball, the facility pays homage to all sports of both men and women. One kiosk is dedicated to Wilt Chamberlain that includes his KU letter jacket. Obviously many championship trophies are on display, but that is only the beginning. The hall also has interactive displays related to hoops. To reach the Booth family Hall of Athletics, you enter the front doors of famed Allen Fieldhouse, a place basketball guru Jay Bilas has deemed the
"St. Andrews of college basketball." There is also considerable memorabilia that belonged to James Naismith, the inventor of basketball and KU's first coach. For anyone interested in the history of college basketball, this place is a must.
