I have visited this casino multple times and have rarely won any money. The drinks are overpriced at the ONE lounge in it. I have visited MANY casino's and have always won a lttle something- at this casino i have never even won 20 bucks.

The casino was ok, once they opened some $5 tables (opening weekend lowest table was $15!!!). Very good selection of slots. The steak restaurant was closed (?). The other restaurant wouldn't seat is although it was half empty. Host told us that side was closed. Very poor PR. Will not go back there. The buffet was poor quality with dried out food, and poor
selection. Requested salsa for tamale and got shrimp sauce! Lame-o. Management needs to get there act together- this is a casino where people are prepared to spend signoficant $, not a kwik-trip.

Hollywood Casino was a great place to visit. It's has always been clean and there is always a waitress waiting to charge you $4.00 plus tip for a semi cold beer. The casino is already getting my money through the slots so why do they think they have to charge so much for a drink? First they did away with the Wednesday only appetizers for half price in Turn 2. Then they raised the breakfast in The Marquee from 4.99 to 5.99. They keep switching the hours of Turn 2 and The Marquee and the days that they are open. Last month they got rid of the Bud Light Platinums on Sundays for 2.50. Now Turn 2 got rid of their happy hour M-F from 4:00 to 6:00 with half price drinks. They only offer a reverse happy hour from S-T from 10 to 12:00 p.m. Weird because Turn 2 is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays so it is only on 3 days. I use to go at least 2-3 times a week ...we would eat and then gamble for a couple of hours. We will not be back because there are no more good specials to get us to spend our money there. It's a shame because the casino is very nice but there is no-one in their restaurants. It's strange to see the prices go up and the specials stop and the place is empty Mon - Thurs. Even empty on the casino floor.

For a place with such a grand name, it certainly did not live up my expectations. It seems to perfectly represent the 'regional casino' instead of what I expect in Vegas. Cheap feel. Weak drinks...and overpriced. Nine hours later, I was glad to leave.

Low priced machines not easy to locate, not enough help on the floor to guide you around, no signs in casino area. Could not find the money exchangers so had to wait in a line to redeem tickets.
