One caveat - this restaurant was in its first week of operation and everyone in town was excited to give it a try. So after everything settles down, things may change for the better. They couldn't possible change for the worse.
For now I'd suggest staying far, far away. The restaurant staff were not organized. They did not have a system for handling reservations, nor did they have a system for handling walk-ins. Who were they expecting to serve if not people with reservation or walk-ins? People with disabilities were not offered a place to sit while they waited for a table. Parties with children were left to try to entertain their children while they waited in long lines (40+ minutes) for a table. Remember - the wait was NOT a wait for good food or service, but a wait to be the first in Hutchinson to eat at Pizza Ranch.
When we were finally seated, the food was mediocre. All of the food is served buffet style, but choices are limited. The staff were unable to keep the buffet tables filled. For entrees - pizza, fried chicken and spicy wings - availability was hit and miss. The dessert pizzas were also hit and miss. The soft serve machine was serving up ice cream(?), hydrogenated vegetable oil(?), or whatever without a hitch.
Overall, this was one of the most unpleasant dining experiences I've ever had. It was loud, chaotic, disorganized, and the food was poor quality. I will avoid Pizza Ranch forever.
